2025 York High School Car Show

Each year, we host a car show to benefit the Senior Send-Off. Rain date is March 23rd. Registration opens at 11 am. Great cars from across the state join us for a fun event. Top 50 awards. 7th Annual George E Smith Memorial Car Show

Saturday, March 29th | 10a-3p

Join us as we celebrate the memory of a local car enthusiast who passed away December 28, 2018. George was a vital part of the Landstown Cruise-Ins, and we are proud to remember him with an annual event. George also served on the board of the Beachcomber Corvette Club served as the president of the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads.

This will be an all years, makes, and models event with awards. Beach Restomods is hosting a Swap Meet in the lot in conjunction with the show benefitting charity!

Portion of proceeds will benefit a charity that George believed in, the Southeastern Food Bank. We will be accepting all non perishable food items for the food bank. Proceeds will also benefit the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads as we work on improved events for all of our attendees.

This event is hosted by 757 Auto Events and the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads.

The show is hosted by the MCT sponsor, Cavalier Ford Greenbrier, located at 1515 S. Military Highway, Chesapeake VA. We happily welcome all years, makes and models of passenger cars, trucks, and motorcycles to participate in this show. This is a family friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids so they can enjoy the show!! Registration will be on-site only, and is $25.00 + two cans of non-perishable food per registered vehicle. The food will be donated to a local food bank, so please be generous. There is no charge for spectators, who will be directed to parking in the rear parking lot of the dealership. This is a Participant's Choice show, with 25 Participant’s Choice awards, and 3 top awards for Best in Show, Dealer’s Choice, and Club Participation. Schedule: 9:00A | Registration Opens. Clubs wishing to park together should arrive together to facilitate easier parking. Parking will be as directed by show staff. All entrant vehicles parked in the show vehicle area must pay the registration fee. Please do not arrive prior to 8:30 a.m. to allow for vendor and lot setup to occur. 10:00A | Driver's Meeting / Judging Begins. This is a Participant’s Choice show. 12:00P | Registration Closed. No further judged entries after this time. 1:00P | Judging Ends 1:30P | Car Show Awards Presented and 50/50 Drawing held. Good Luck!! 2:00P | Show Complete. Please exit safely and have a great day!! Join us for our Monthly Meetings | 4th Tuesday of Every Month

All car club member/representatives are invited to our meetings, which are scheduled the fourth Tuesday of every month. We’ll be discussing what and how the Car Club Council can help and represent the car clubs of the Southside of Hampton Roads and Northern North Carolina. Our goal is to provide a sounding board for all car clubs on the Southside and to be a single voice in support of automotive legislative activities in Virginia and North Carolina. As well as a single location to advertise car club member events on our website calendar. We will also provide a central point for advertising of automotive related facilities and products.

DUES ARE $30.00 FOR ALL CAR CLUBS AND ARE DUE TO THE TREASURER BY MARCH OF EACH YEAR.
